Since I was a child I had a curious gift.
I could tell anyone 'loves me' by picking up a daisy in a meadow.

Although that wasn’t going to give a spin to my emotional life, I grew up a healthy curiosity for what is around me. For example, have you ever wondered why that enchanted feeling pervades you when you look at “Mona Lisa” or at the Parthenon? Or when, in a starry night, we look at the Milk Way?

There is a mysterious beauty in everything our senses appreciate and the most incredible aspect is that this beauty is hard-wired into our body. As a matter of fact, there are plenty of things which just seem to be woven in the Universe fabric, like our innate desire to live in expanded worlds, or our innate desire to fight with each other, or our innate desire to advance in our technology every day.

Ultimately we all have an innate desire to find a purpose to our life.

Today there is a clear philosophical and scientific convergence towards the Simulation hypothesis, which claims the world we are living might be just an experiment or even somebody else’s hobby. However, you might be surprised that this thought has been a true obsession for our kind since the beginning.

As scientists discover new intriguing evidence on the nature of the Universe, we realize that everything was perceived at the roots of our civilization, when we couldn’t foresee the realism of today’s simulation yet we could foresee the future using the binary system, that is the foundation of today’s computers, to predict the future.

In Chronicles from a Simulated World I am going to tell you a bunch of facts of life and tales which have been in my mind for a while. Until, one day, I realized that they all have a common design pattern. Perfectly programmed by somebody from a High Castle.
